Our valves, sold within the European Union, must comply with the PED, the Pressure Equipment Directive. This is European legislation that prescribes the requirements for equipment that works under pressure in order to be safe. Manufacturers must demonstrate that their products comply with this legislation before they can affix the CE mark to the products.
In a recent audit, Wouter Witzel once again demonstrated to use a quality system for the development and production of valves that meets these requirements. This means that Wouter Witzel again is certified -now by DNV-GL – to bring these valves to market without further external testing or inspections.
