Glass art remains in Losser

Recently a new office for five departments has been opened and can accommodate approximately 30 employees . Also a meeting room has been arranged which is surrounded by glass panels. One wall of the meeting room is particularly special because of the glass artwork of artist Louis La Rooy.

The artwork is a glass wall of 3.5 x 2.5m and comes from a bank in Losser (Netherlands). They had no destination anymore and it would be destroyed probably. After both parties had agreed, the painters removed  the artwork and replaced it in the new office of Wouter Witzel EuroValve, so that the glass artwork is preserved for the town Losser.

The artist himself is also pleased that his work is not lost: “Nice to hear that you have become the new owner of the glass artwork made by me. I executed this years ago for the Rabobank. It is a decorative glass wall without any pretensions . I hope you will enjoy it.”
