    New: grease free production

    During regular assembly of butterfly valves various greases are used between the moving components. The grease is also applied to create a smooth and easy assembling between the disc and rubber lining.

    In certain industries however it is not allowed for safety or quality reasons to supply butterfly valves containing any kind of silicons or grease.

    Customer satisfaction survey as input for improvement projects

    In the LEAN implementation Wouter Witzel recently conducted a customer satisfaction survey under a selection of key accounts. The aim of this research is to determine where the focus of demand projects should lie.

    The majority of the assessments were positive, the actual remed actions were started. More than a few months will be a measure of measuring our obligations.

    All in all a positive next step in the implementation of the LEAN philosophy.

    Wouter Witzel’s quality management system is now certified according to the standards of ISO 9001, the 2015 version. This means that under other date we have demonstrated that we have effective processes to manage the risks of non-compliance with stakeholders’ expectations. To this end, even more emphatically than previously, objectives are focused on the sub-processes and more intensive use is made of risk analyzes. Wouter Witzel Weer is a state-of-the-art QHSE management system company (ISO 14001: 2015) in the field of health and safety (OHSAS 18001: 2007).

    MKB-tour Overijssel to Losser and Wouter Witzel Eurovalve

    On Friday November 3th, Deputy Eddy van Hijum visited Wouter Witzel and took the MKB-tour at Losser Municipality.The goal of the MKB-tour is to create an optimal business climate that meets the wishes of the entrepreneurs.

    The involvement of the municipalities is therefore extremely important. Over the past few months, the delegates have been tortured by Overijssel to visit all the municipalities where local MKB’rs are central.

    Wouter Witzel has provided a presentation and a tour. It was an interesting and successful meeting.

    In-house training at Wouter Witzel

    Recently our representative in the United Kingdom, Induchem UK Ltd,  for the Industry (Oil & Gas, Desalination, Building Services, Power Stations, District Cooling and Mining) visit our company for a in-house training.

    In-house training consist of theoretical training regarding our bonded to the body lining butterfly valves and our double offset high performance butterfly valve the Dynaxe and Econaxe. During this 2 days training design, material choice in combination with medium and sizing of actuation is teach.

    Important part of the training is the tour in our modern state of the art factory where all the butterfly valves lined and double offset are being machined, painted, mounted, tested and packed.

    With the training given by our most experience people our representative can answer all kind off kind questions regarding our rubber lined and high performance butterfly valves.

    Our Swedish distributor Armatec AB has relocated to their new facility.

    In-house NACE inspectors at Wouter Witzel

    Our in-house coating capabilities, qualifications and procedures have an unequaled level in the market for butterfly valves. The personal of the coating department is qualified to tradesman level as blaster and painter. The personal have relevant knowledge of health and safety hazard, use of protection equipment, coating materials, mixing and thinning of coatings, coating pot-life surface requirements and use of inspection equipment. Wouter Witzel has in-house certified inspectors CIP Level II by NACE International.
